Before committing, I offer a complimentary one-page proofread or copyedit of your book. That way, we can be sure my editing style is right for you!

How to Get a Quote for a Copyedit/Proofread

Here’s what I need to offer you a quote:

  • The number of words

  • Deadline

  • Format (i.e. Word or PDF)

  • A short sample (~500 words) so that I can judge the level of editing required and be sure I’m offering you the right service

 

Here are some pricing examples to get an idea:

Copyediting a 60,000-word memoir: $1,850

Proofreading a 30,000-word self-help book: $660

Proofreading a 8,000 word website: $200

Copyediting a 2,000-word blog post: $50
